INKtober: Day 22 of 31
I have succumbed. For the longest time I was looking for a fine flex gold nib pen and yesterday, I finally bought a 14K gold Pilot Elabo Falcon nib pen from Fook Hing. The pen is housed in an elegant black body with silver trims on the cap. It writes smoothly and the ink flow is juicy. The flex is comparable to my Noodler's Ahab but the pen glides more smoothly while writing. 4.5/5
I did two sketches with it today. One of a street in Paris from a photo reference and the other was done on site at the newly opened Kallang Wave. I didn't bring my water brush for the latter and had to dab my finger into rain water to apply a light wash, explaining the blotchy wash.
