Urban Sketchers Vol. 2 is here! It is "A book of sketches and memories". For this book, submitting a sketch of any random building wouldn't make the cut. The place has to mean something to us and this memory has to be put down in words. What that translate to is a collection of meaningful short stories that happened in Singapore.
The book launch was held at the Victoria Street National library. There was a public talk in the morning, followed by a mingling session with food and drinks. Unfortunately the book is not yet for sale but contributors get free copies! We got one copy today and hanged around after the talk to autograph one another's copy. I have never sign so many times on a single day.

The book was well curated and beautifully made. There are over 300 pages with about 150 sketches+stories.

I haven't finish reading the book but I am going to digest it slowly to understand more about places and learnt more about my fellow sketchers.
