INKtober: Day 9 and 10 of 31
I couldn't get any sketching done the last two days cos I left my sketchbook in my office. When I got it back last afternoon, I quickly sketched two buildings from photo reference.
The first is of a building that I pass by on my way to work everyday. Done with the Sailor calligraphy pen. Like the hero pen, it has a bent tip which allows for line variation. Unlike the hero, the bend is sharper so you get a well defined line which is either very thick or thin. Good for neat and precise drawing. 3.5/5
The second is of a retro building facade that I saw on Pinterest. I used the Staedtler triplus fineliner. This pen writes like a fine marker. It comes in a variety of colours and I have the gray. You will need to apply some pressure to get the ink on the paper. Ink is not waterproof. Not recommended. 2/5
