Watercolour Exhibition "Whispers of the Nightshade" by William Sim
I attended the opening of William Sim's exhibition
"Happiness Private Limited 2014- Whispers of the Nightshade" at
Utterly Art Gallery on Friday. He is one of my favorite local artists. All his
paintings incorporate some elements of nature and are filled with rich colours
and amazing details.
I have watched him paint when he joined us during our
urban-sketcher sketch walks. A slow worker for sure, he
would carefully mix the colours and painstakingly dab them within his
detailed pencil drawings.
Can you find a watermelon boy in the pictures
that I have taken during the exhibition? William explained that the little boy
represents him interacting with the subjects in the paintings. So cute, right?
Go find the rest of them while the exhibition is on.
It will close on 16th November.
