Birthday present for a loved one

I have just completed a commission for a dear friend from my previous workplace. She wanted to surprise her husband with a drawing of his childhood house.

This one was challenging because the house is no longer there and I only had two picture references from her. The only coloured photo was discoloured and didn't show the entire house. 

Luckily I managed to find a similar house at Joo Chiat and based the outline on it. 

In the end I even managed to put him and his dad in the drawing. My friend was elated. I hope that her hubby will like it too.
